For August we'll be joined by Alastair Brogan, owner of Vapor Distillery, the home of Boulder Spirits.

Single Malt Whisky has been a favorite type of whiskey for people around the world. Over the past decade, many distilleries in the U.S. have begun to explore single malt but with an American twist.

Alastair came to Boulder with the desire to make the single malt whiskey he enjoyed in his homeland. Using Scottish traditions, 100% Malted Barley, a Scottish Pot Still, charred New American Oak Barrels, aging in an arid, high elevation environment, and Eldorado SpringsWater, Boulder Spirits is crafting award-winning American Single Malt Whiskey.

For those of who are Scotch lovers, this is a not to miss event. If you are new to single malt, this whiskey is a perfect introduction. Smooth, lovely aroma and flavors and easy to sip. For those of you who are Peated Single Malt Whiskey fans, (you know who you are), we will be tasting at least one and maybe two lovely examples.

Tickets for this event are $20 and include snack-sized charcuterie. 

A refreshing event cocktail using Boulder Spirits American Single Malt will be available to purchase during the event.

Note that the start time for our evening is at 7pm. We'll be on the outside patio, so be prepared for an August evening outside.
