Join us on Tuesday October 24th at 6:00pm for Mezcal y Bocodos (translation: mouth full or small bite) with Mezcal Vago.
Mezcal is a traditional Mexican beverage, steeped in history, with a process passed down through families who live where agave grows. Mezcal is NOT tequila and you'll learn the difference,
Each of four mezcals we'll taste is naturally made in a traditional palenque (distillery) and is considered true connoisseur mezcal. All of the mezcals are joven (young) and clear, exactly as our four mezcaleros have been crafting them for generations. Each have very different aromas and flavors.
During this event, Dylan Sloan (co-owner) will share the history, stories, and production methods of the very unique mezcals as we taste and sip through the four courses.
Chef Chris of Base Camp Provisions has created a four-course tasting menu with each course paired with a neat pour of each mezcal expression. We'll kick off the evening with an Elote Old Fashioned cocktail.
